The artistic Nativity scenes of Jesolo made with sand, ice, and stones (H3)
There are so many ways to represent the Nativity scene. One of these is with sand: this year, the very famous Jesolo Sand Nativity celebrates its 20th edition in Piazza Brescia and will welcome you in all its majesty!

The evocative Ice Nativity is only in its second edition but is already considered the largest in Italy. During your visit to Jesolo, drop by Piazza Primo Maggio: with one more display case than last year, until the 8th of January 2023, you will have the opportunity to admire wonderful life-size statues and traditional local characters.
You will see two cases on display: one shows the representation of the typical Christmas in Jesolo, with the sea and the beach, while the other exhibits the traditional nativity scene with the Nativity, the Three Wise Men, and the shepherds.
You might even be lucky enough to see the live creation of a grand ice statue by the sculptors of the Italian Academy of Artistic Ice!
And after the ice and sand, don’t miss the new Stone Nativity, created by the sculptor Sergio Dalla Mora and visible in Piazza Milano. He’s an artist free from all tendencies, whose talent stands out precisely for its independence from any teaching. Did you know that the squares of Jesolo and the nearby municipalities host more than thirty of his monuments? Maybe you’ve already seen some of his works!
