At the beginning of June 2023, I spent a long weekend at the Hotel Napoleon, a 4-star Superior hotel for adults overlooking Jesolo’s sea. With its intense shades of blue and yellow, the hotel got my attention before entering. As I stepped in, an elegant and distinguished lady with a genuine smile welcomed me at the reception. Her name is Edda, and she was my reference point for the entire stay. She runs the hotel with her son Mario, a kind-hearted hotel entrepreneur, always ready to listen to my needs.
I admit it: as a travel blogger, I tried to put them slightly on the spot with some of my requests, like when I asked for a pillow without goose feathers or if it was possible to clean the room floor because I brought in some sand. The staff always satisfied my expectations and made my wishes come true.
How did my three days at this lovely Adults Only Hotel in Jesolo unfold? Let me tell you about my experience!
Sea and pool for a day of pure relaxation
Waking up at the Hotel Napoleon was like receiving a gentle caress. I stepped out onto the sea view terrace of my Single Senior Room and let my gaze wander free over the first morning waves.
I stood there admiring the panorama until hunger took over. I went down to the ground floor, where a rich breakfast buffet greeted me: homemade cakes and cookies, jams and fresh fruit, eggs, mixed cold cuts, vegetables, yogurt, and cereals. With all those delicacies, I didn’t know where to start!
I spent the first day at the hotel’s private beach equipped with sun loungers, deckchairs, parasols, changing rooms, and showers, which I used after my very first swim in the sea of the 2023 season! At 12.30 PM, I took advantage of the lunch break that the hotel offers free of charge to guests staying for a minimum of 3 nights, as I did. I tasted the dish of the day and homemade appetizers and took the opportunity to have another chat with the owner, Mrs. Edda, who transmits all the passion for her work!
I then spent the afternoon pampering myself in the heated outdoor pool while admiring the sunset in the seafront Jacuzzi I had previously booked: the warm water and the sun on my skin regenerated me completely!
I enjoyed a shower and some relaxation in my big hotel room equipped with every comfort (I had never found a hydromassage shower in a single room!) and, in the evening, I was ready to experience the famous Jesolo by night!
After a tasty dinner with delicious local products in a restaurant the owner Mario recommended, I decided to try room service: I felt like sipping something sweet to end this first day on a high note.
Hotel Napoleon’s services are a guarantee
For the second day, I had previously booked some of the services included in the packages to test whether the experiences exceeded my expectations and matched what I had read on the hotel’s website before booking.
Thanks to the “Golfing in Nature” package, I discovered an oasis of peace: the Jesolo Golf Club. I enjoyed practising one of my favourite sports, surrounded by 900,000 square metres of greenery!
Since I am a very active person, and when I chose to stay at the Hotel Napoleon, amon their services I saw you could rent for free their bicycles, I didn’t think twice about exploring Jesolo in the saddle! I rode along the well-known Via Bafile (I have to admit, I surrendered to a bit of shopping!) and then took the bike path to fully enjoy one of the most beautiful coastlines on the Adriatic.
The day was so busy that I didn’t feel like having dinner, so I took advantage of the hotel bar, where I wanted to try a gin-based delicacy, the famous Napoleon Drink. After a thirst-quenching cocktail sipped gazing at the sea, I sank into a deep sleep, wrapped in my big and comfortable French bed.
A trip to Venice from the 4 Stars Superior Hotel Napoleon
To end my stay in Jesolo on a high note, after a breakfast tasting fragrant croissants and homemade cakes (yes, I love sweet options in the morning), I retrieved my car, stored in the hotel’s private, video-monitored, and free car park, equipped with a charging station where I could conveniently recharge my electric car before leaving for Venice.
With Mrs. Edda’s and Mario’s valuable advice on what to visit and where to eat in the Serenissima, my day was memorable, just like my entire stay at the Hotel Napoleon, a place that made me feel at home from the first moment.

The Visentin family and all their staff members are kind, helpful, and welcoming; they stand out for their great experience, professionalism, and attention to the guests’ different needs (even the most demanding ones like me!)
From the rooms to the breakfast, the terraces to the swimming pool, and the location to the services, the Hotel Napoleon is the best choice for adults who want to experience an unforgettable holiday in Jesolo. What makes the difference compared to many other establishments where I stayed? The people: a close-knit, friendly, and always smiling team, a big family I had the pleasure to meet and made me feel part of it!
